What's the last Album/CD you purchased?

Chaotic42

Lifer
Yes, purchased, not downloaded. 😛

I just bought Smoke From a Distant Fire from The Sandford-Townsend Band (Or Sanford and Townsend, depending on who you believe). Before that it was Roy Orbison's Greatest Hits.

How about you?

DVD-Audio Beethoven's Symphonies by Berliner Philharmonker conducted by Claudio Abbado

And a whole lot more. I think I got 20 this time around.

I'm drawing a blank, it's been a few months, but Vienna Teng's Inland Empire and the second Venus Hum CD will be in my next order from Amazon. I have Napster so I just listen to streaming of a lot of new CDs.

Offspring's Rise & Fall, Rage & Grace.

It's okay. The first 2 songs sound a lot like some of their older songs, and overall the album is good. Nothing really outstanding.

I've got the Herbert Van Karanjen CD version. I like it. I'm tempted to grab one of those Bach super sets, but something about buying classical music in bulk just seems wrong. 😛

Smoke from a distant fire has always been a favoriate of mine

Last albums Mike Stern Who let the cats out, and Di Meola Consequence of Chaos

...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead - The Century of Self

Only been through it once, but it's good. Not sure if it's as good as So Divided or Worlds Apart yet (both are freaking brilliant) but we'll see after a couple more listens.

CKY - Carver City. Good fuckin album, but coming from that band I knew it was gonna be anyway. "Imaginary Threats" is my favorite off it so far.

Same here, I went with the special edition release. A#1 Roller Rager is my favorite from this release.

Oh yeah, special edition fo sho. Got my cd sleeve signed by the silver ink Deron used, haha.

I can't believe the band isn't more popular. Shitty marketing by Island Records when they were on there maybe? Who knows. No flashy bullshit rock stars or songs or pretentiousness, just straight up good. Deron Miller writes the most interesting, complex, and catchy guitar riffs I think I have ever heard. Some are just hypnotic.

From Emusic I downloaded Mars Lasar Mindscapes Vol3

My last physical CD was about a year ago. I think it was Enter The Haggis.
