10 or 15 thousand. Of my own money, not more than 600 or so, I don't really like carrying around cash, I do everything either electronically or by check/plastic

Around 100,000.....the thing that was cool is that they were only 10,000 and 1000 bills...collector's items......

Once there was literally a pallette of cash that was probably 6' x 6' x 6'.

According to the US department of printing 1 bill is 6.14x2.61x.0043 inches. At 72x72x72 that comes out to 5.4 million bills. Since the largest bill in print is the 100, you could have seen anywhere from 5.4 million to 540 million bucks. And it weighs about 12 thousand pounds.

I think.

I remember watching rush hour once and the guy asked for something like 50 million in 50's 20 million in 20's and 10 mil in 10's and then fit it into 2-4 duffel bags. I thought it was odd, so i found this website and found that it didn't work out at all.

Edit: Forgot to add to the topic: I would say the most ive ever seen is around 500 in 20's. Although i closed my bank account the other day and could have stayed to see the guy in the line next to me get his 1000 dollars in 20's, but i was in a hurry.

I dunno, I was on a tour of a bank when I was in gradeschool. They opened up a vault & grabbed $10,000 & passed it around. Well, sort of passed - He never actually let go of it. At that age $10,000 was an unimaginable amount of money, never mind what was still in the vault.

50,000 from a insurance settlement. In the summer I can have 20,000 in my wallet from deliverys.

Kind of scary runnin around with that much cash all day, but as time goes on, it doesn't matter anymore

$350,000 ... it was at the bank, but of course I was working there, and balancing the vault, so I think that it counts, since I actually got to touch it.

Most I've had of my own at one time was $14,000, which I got from sale of a fairly new Goldwing that I won at a raffle. Sold it to my uncle, and got a CBR600.

transfer of funds from new owner of house to old owner. it was kinda cool in a way that he paid in cash.

(not our house... unfortunately :( )

Seriously whenever there is a thread like this you seem to try to beat everyone. Im not saying that its not possible that you have seen a mill in cash. But I am saying that your always coming up with these great stories/expierences. Just seems kind of fishy.

when i buy my car in "cash", around $22,000. I just write a check + 5000 credit card. :)

Then you're not really paying for it in cash, now are you? ;)

70000. 40000 of it was "mine" as i was working at best buy in their cash only line during the christmas season.
