what's the largest purchase you've made using just coins?

Once I took about $20 in loose change to the bank. They just handed me a stack of rolls, and said come back when you are finished. So I'm sitting there in the lobby rolling coins, and this lady just walks up and starts helping me. Doesn't stop running her mouth the whole time. After 5-10 mins she confesses to me that she is "a little high".

Some Batman action figure when I was a kid, from Walmart. All I had was coins. I had so many coins, and the line was getting so big (only one checkout on the side with the plants), the guy behind me threw a dollar bill on my pile so that the cashier could go faster.

I felt so bad about it lol

They were silver dollars, though, worth about $25 each.
