What's the kind of switch called where you can share a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.?

It's all in one switch, hit a key and you change to different computer. Hit a key and bang, back again.

My roommate has this one and he really likes it. I've got an older one that doesn't work so well but I don't feel like spending money on a new one.

ooooh ok. well i'm guessing some are better than others. like video quality for example. what are some good ones?

edit: that linksys looks nice.....

I have a Belkin that was a bit pricey at the time, but works flawlessly.

i have the linksys one linked above. no real lag or video quality issues that i can see, but then i don't use it on my primary computer. i think it is starting to crap out though

Best buy sells a mini one, 2 port (for 2 PC's) it's an all in one (includes cables) connect to both PC's, connect monitor/keyboard/mouse to the unit (about the size of a thick credit card) and done. Was like $40. Don't know how good it is. Cables might not be long enough depending on where the PC's are.
