I must admit I have sped more miles and more hours at very high speeds in Florida than any other state outside of Texas where I live. There are hardly any police anywhere in that state, expecially at night.

140 in a 1980 Chevy Monza with a 305 v-8 wrapped the speedo back to zero on the gague and could of gone faster but the car was flaoting and any sharp movement I would of lost controll.
138 going down a mountain on my way to Portland OR in a 92 Hyundai Excel. Hit 130 coasting in nutral and because of the areodynamics of the car was its top rolling speed. Have picture somewhere I took of the OD to prove it. Cars top speed because of the govenor was 110.

I've only done 100 tops. Driving cross country this week in my stang I tailed a Lexus for a while doing 90-95, then I noticed she was using a curling iron  I got beside her and matched her speed for a while, then I spotted a cop sitting on a bridge with his radar gun, so I eased on the brakes. From the cop's perspective, it probably looked like she blew past me. I hung around the speed limit for about a minute until the cop flew by me and pulled over the Lexus. I'm sure she had fun trying to hide a hot curling iron :p

158mph in a twin turbo supra after I saw it at a party and the owner saw me ogling it. Asked if I wanted to for a ride, so we jumped on the highway ... I nearly filled my shoes.

Does anyone else feel paranoid when responding to speeding confession posts?

90-95 on a flat stretch in my Jeep. for some reason the bigger more unbalanced your tires are the less you wanna go fast :D

fastest i've driven in my explorer is 70 and in a 55 and it was a stupid thing to do with the tires that are on it. as a passenger 110-117ish in a busted as 88 honda civic, driver had the pedal held to the floor.

~138 in a friend's vette. He told me to wind it out so I did, though I think that car had a lot more if I had wanted to use it.

85 - it's a bad idea to go very fast for any distance when you're 17 (19 now)

i would literally get my ass kicked if i a) got a ticket, b) got a ticket with excessive speeding
