Whats The Higest 8NS Ram Can Do?

I have a stick of 128 MB Micron Ram. It says -8N. So i presume its 8nanoseconds. Anyone know how high this thing will go. I got it at 135mhz Bus Speed. It was rated for 133Mhz. Anyone know if it would go giver than 135mhz?

If it's rated at 133 MHz, it's probably actually 7.5ns RAM. THe way to determine the rated speed in MHz instead of nanoseconds it to divide 1000 by the ns rating...

For example:

10 ns memory? 1000/10 = PC100 SDRAM
8 ns memory? 1000/8 = PC125 SDRAM (usually sold as PC100)
7.5ns memory? 1000/7.5 = PC133 SDRAM

However...

This is their rated speed. There's no easy way of telling how high it'll go, just try it. I've booted all the way into windows with PC100 at 118 MHz CAS3, & I normally run my one PC100 DIMM at 112 MHz CAS2.

-8N will hit 140FSB. After that it dies. -8 is either excellent PC-100, or low grade PC-133, because technically it can hit 133 no prob. Don't plan on running 150 with it

THE TRUTH IS EACH STICK IS DIFFERENT IM USING TWO -8 THAT RUN TOTALLY STABLE AT 150 MHZ. ANYBODY TELLS YA DIFFERENT THERE WRONG EACH STICK VARIES!

Digital Jesus is right it just depends on the individual stick. I've got 2 sticks of 64mb 10ns rated at PC100 running at 124mhz as I type. I had 2 sticks of 32mb 10ns rated at PC66 that would run fine at 129mhz. I also had 1 stick of 64mb 8ns rated at PC100 that ran stable at 139mhz.
