What's the GTA3 cheat for this? (HELP!)

i tried to use gamehack... the darn thing doesn't work in XP.
i had to use a third party cheat... *hang head in shame*
 
I don't think it can be done. I know you speed up the game clock, but not stop time. Good luck finding a code, and share it if you find it 🙂
 
The cheat was available on gta3.com forum a week ago.....

it stops the mission timer to make some mission easier to do....
not the first version... the second version....

i'll check to see if i can find a link.....


currently playing with the snake (from the simpsons) skin... halirious

for some reason, i don't feel bad cheating when i'm not playing against someone else.

if it's just pc vs. me, i'm up for any advantages that i can get my hands on.

of course, i don't do it to a point where it ruins the game.
 
if you look over in the official gta3 thread, you could have found this trainer: link ... that has the option of freezing the clock. to use hte trainer, just open up GTA3, then alt-tab it, and open the trainer program. then, in the game, just press they keys, as defined in the trainer and you will be on your way.

oh yea, there is another trainer in the official gta3 thread, if you want more options.
 
I tried the above trainer and the mission timer freeze works. Except for one mission where you have to do a drive-by and take out 20 gang members in 2 minutes. The timer kept running on that one.
 
They got it for PS2 with the gameshark, it was great, I got to drive the dust cart to the triads w/o damage and w/o a timer. Damn, that is the best game ever. Even to walk around and harrass the triads🙂
 
The trainer doesn't work. The unlimited health works, but the freeze time doesn't. Someone above mentioned an actual cheat that you can type in, so what is it? The mission i'm trying to do is Esspresso-2-Go.
 
Well, a fun cheat I found, well, not really a cheat, moreso a bug, is if you want an explosion proof, bullet proof, crash proof firetruck. Do a fire mission, extinguish the car, then do the instant replay all the way up to when you extinguished the car and let it finish running the replay. At this point, wait for the money indicator to leave the screen, then press F1, it'll instantly give you cash and time for a fire mission you never did. You just keep on waiting for the cash text to the leave the screen and keep hitting F1. It adds time to your fire mission timer and then you can run around the city in the firetruck ramming cars off the road, smashing into EVERYTHING and not exploding. I had my timer up to 40 minutes and I just ran around the entire time smashing stuff. As soon as the timer wore down, I would just hit F1 again to add more time. Instant fun.
