What is the greatest number of shots of espresso youve had in a coffee drink? Was thinking about going to a coffeeshop and asking for like 4 just for the hell of it 🙂

Three, dumped into a cup of regular coffe. They called it the "Depth Charge".

i usually drink espresso straight. sometimes with a little milk froth (a machiatto). i normally get 3 shots.

8 over an hour. Two Adrenaline Rushes at Cafe Coco in Nashville, TN. Each one is 4 shots of espresso, a cup of house coffee, and hot chocolate (They were mixed in a 32oz cup). Very tasty.

I had a friend who took 8 in a drink from Starbucks. He finished about half over the course of a night and was hallucinating by the end of it .

Very bitter coffee.

very strong tasting, if you're not used ot it. however, once you get used of it, drip coffee tastes very watered down.

Yes Im serious. Although he did take some mushrooms that night too. But yeah, when he bought it the whole store was working on it because it took so much work to make haha.

And you don't think that they were solely responsible for the hallucinations.

I have 6 to 8 a day ave ( been drinking that for about 6 years now ). At on time the most was 12 shots ( all from Starbuck ) Yes, I do have a very very high tolerance. But I drink loads of water during the day so it helps keep the buzz but keeps you from overamping 😉

Very bitter coffee.

That's not so, at all. Granted, it might be so for improperly brewed espresso, but a quality shot is not bitter. There are of course some bitter components, but they are either nominally perceptible or completely balanced with the sweeter components. A proper espresso can sometimes be almost excessively sweet.

A properly brewed espresso. No bitter notes.

A cappuccino with a little bit of what's known as "latte art" (yes, in a cappuccino); yeah, I messed up on it.. Try getting that at Starbucks.

Wouldn't the high caffeine concentration of espresso drinks make them extremely bitter.
