What's the general policy on being topless in public?

Woman and a man are jogging down the street, both topless (let's say that the woman isn't that well endowed lessoning the floppage factor). Would the woman be given a ticket for indecent exposure? And if so would the ACLU swoop in?

It's a serious question and one that goes to the heart of why we Americans are so uptight about nudity.

You wanna see boobies in public? Goto Australia

Some beautiful and perky ones down there.

Probably one of the perks of my trip there 3 years ago....;)

I recall hearing about a case where a woman was protesting and was nude, she was cited for indecent exposure and that citation states that if the genitals are exposed then it's considered indecent.

IIRC she won since a womans genitals can't technically be exposed unless her labia majora is opened which is difficult to have happen while a woman is standing (sorry for being graphic)

It's legal in Ontario and BC for women to be topless in public.
I've never seen anyone take advantage of it...

Apparently you've never been to Windsor in the summer with a bunch of drunk 18-22 year old women :p

The general policy is that it is socially unacceptable and there are indecency laws against it.

There are some nude beaches here in SoCal though were you can go totally nude with no problem. I've seen a few hot women there but mostly it's middle age men and women you wouldn't really want to see naked anyway. Some hotties though.

Nudity doesn't bother me. Hell, I've laid out naked in my back yard a few times. :p

Yeah....but for every 10 of those, you'd find at least one to make it WELL worth it.

I'm sorry but I just could not live through 10 of those. So I wouldn't even get to see the 1 that was worth it...
