What's the general consensus on the Nissan Murano?

Good car, has a decent amount of space but rides like an Altima with a high seating position. Has a decent engine, and the CVT makes for ultra smooth driving but it doesn't feel as fast as a normal tranny.

No it isn't. The Infiniti FX35 is rear wheel drive. The Murano is front wheel drive.

Which would suck for all those drag races you plan on doing in your SUV!

It's still an Infinity FX35 shell.

They're both available in AWD form..and while both come with 3.5L v6's, they're based on completely different platforms.

we test drove that extensively, and then some friends got one. In the first year, it was plagued with an unusual number of alternator failures and other problems. I am a bit leery of being the new transmission guinea pig also. It was a fun drive though.
