Be honest. I'm not saying you always do these things, just 9 times out of ten where would you be right after turning on your computer.

Swear, because if I'm turning it on it means that it either crashed or there was a power outage.

Are you still serving in Afghanistan? Only reason I ask is this wouldn't be exactly your home computer in those circumstances would they?

I don't turn mine off.

But when I first jump on, I have Firefox open up three tabs: Gmail, Facebook, and Myspace. After fucknig around there, I usually hit up ATOT and two car forums.

This.

First thing I do when I sit down at my already running comp used to be check my email, but since it's synced with my Omnia now, I usually check the news.

The FIRST thing I do is to push the power switch...then wait 4-5 fucking minutes while Outlook loads...

THEN, I go read through the news headlines on my AT&T/Yahoo page before hitting the email.

finish whatever software installation forced me to turn off my computer.

(i dont turn off my computer much. uptime before being forced to reboot to install sound drivers yesterday...29 days)

If it's my laptop, either get to work (if I'm in a class) or randomly surf the web.

If it's my home PC, I either open up Steam or watch porn.

Check email first, then hit up 2motorcycle forums and see whats new, Myspace and facebook, then Anandtech

Usually Thunderbird, FireFox (AT, Slickdeals, maybe some others), Pidgin, EVEMon, MediaMonkey. From there I either waste time browsing the web or playing video games. 😛
