I am going to revise my answer. As it had been a rather taxing day of reading documentation for an API that was fucking wrong (and I am still upset), the first thing I managed upon walking in the door was opening the closest bottle of wine and haven't stopped since.

I don't understand this response. Are you saying that nobody ever gets burglarized in cities?

A key hook is a great place for somebody to steal car keys while they're in your house repairing something or burglarizing the place. If you're going to have key hooks put them inside the coat closet on the wall that the door is in so nobody can see them if they're just looking in.

If someone started my car, I'd wake up....hell, most of my neighbors would too.

Also, I have insurance. If someone wants to steal your keys and steal your car, pretty sure they would find the keys unless you hide them in your bum.
