So everyone posted what was the first great computer game they played. What was the first PC game you ever played?

For me it was Wheel of Fortune 6th edition or something like that when I was 6. It had 4 colors and required dos 2.0. Ran on my first computer of which I don't know the specs... but I know it didn't have a harddrive.

PC: Rogue

Apple II+: Choplifter

TRS-80: One of those Scott Adams adventure games...don't remember the name

Kings Quest (not sure which number it was... I think it was the first one to come on a cd) was probably my first game on my own computer.

Otherwise probably Oregon Trail on the old 5 1/2 inch floppies.

i remember kings quest, but that was before games came on cds.

It was definately snake. You were a blind snake and you had to get out of your maze without hitting the walls. I was probably 5 when I played it (21 now). I also remember playing this jet fighter game that had the SR-71 in it, and if you flew fast enough and high enough you could break the earths atmosphere and get into the blackness of space. it was great.

I don't recall the name of the game, but it was like pac man. It was loaded into a commadore 64 from tape. You just ate the dots.

There was also another one, where you dug up gold in a mine, you pick where your tunnel goes and try not to hit water or rocks I think. That was pretty fun too. Also on commadore 64.

Can't remember much more, it was too long ago.
