Whats the *Fastest* youve ever driven (on land)?

I was driving to work doing 80-85 and a Cadillac STS shot by. It was early in the morning, the road was empty so I picked up my speed and got behind the STS. I kept up with the Cadlillac for about 20 miles before I checked my speed and saw I was doing 115 mph. I slowed down.

Since then I pay more attention on my speed.

115mph down a bit of a hill on the motorway. It max's about 110mph on a straight.

nothing special but a car that drives from A to B and its a free car I use and don't pay for so I DEFINATELY dont' complain about it

havent pined it yet, i have to buy new front springs,at about 135 the front is too "light",

The fastest that I've ever *driven* was around 110mph, in a '97 6-speed Z28 convertible. I worked for a car dealership and had my pick of the used cars to run errands. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to drive that car at a time/place where it was safe to go faster.

And Jerboy, he said 240 clicks == 240 kilometers.

~120mph in my 96 5.0L explorer. I think the fuel system shut off then or the trans got too hot after running @ 120mph for about a minute, b/c my trans burned out after i got home and let it sit for a day. Damn ford

I think 90 is about as fast as I've gone - I had our '89 Plymouth Grand Voyager up to 85 or so, and we did 90 in a $35 Kia rental (actually felt better at 80-90 than I thought it would...not much different from 60-70).

Five mph faster than anyone else in this forum, in a car that cost more and gets better gas mileage than anyone else's. Oh and my super model, billionaire, nymphomaniac, liquor store owning girlfriend was in the car with me at the time.

100mph in a 01 for taurus, 155hp. I was going to run out of road if i didn't get on the brakes, so i couldn't get any faster than that. the alero has a hard time hitting that speed on the same straightaway(150hp, but it's a 4 cyl compared to the V6 in the taurus)

LMAO that's a good way to end a pissing contest Honestly though, I've been 170 indicated on my CBR1000 which was probably actual speed of about 163-165mph.
