I ordered XP Pro Upgrade for $75 from Provantage today @ 1:40 P.M. and received an e-mail that it had shipped @ 2:53. :Q I've been buying things online for several years and this has to be the fastest I've ever seen anything shipped.

What's the fastest you've seen?

i ordered a panasonic ae700u projector from profeel at 1:30ish AM once, with next day shipping, and it was at my house the next afternoon.
 
Once I called Crucual for replacement ram (since I fried mine overclocking) on a monday afternoon. Tuesday morning, I had replacement ram fedexed to me and I didn't even ship the dead one out yet.
 
ATX case using 3 day ground ups, came the next business day. Granted not what you asked but it was awsome.
 
I ordered a processor once for my old mac way back in the day. I placed the order mid afternoon. The next morning, I woke up, got the tracking number, checked it out and it said "delivered"

I was like... wtf... taht cant be right.... went downstairs, poured some cereal, walked to the kitchen table and viola, there it was. :beer:

Back retailers were competing against each other with free overnight shipping, I ordered hundreds of dollars in hardware no more than 2 minutes before the cutoff. Went to bed, and when I woke up around noon the next day the package was delivered 😀

did that to dell...ordered a Samsung 955DF monitor back in the day /w free overnight...had it at my house in less than 12 hours 😀

 
i ordered a book for class from a place in hong kong. it was monday my time, tuesday their time. i had it tuesday (my time) -- overnighted from hong kong :Q

now THAT was cool.
 
McMaster-Carr by far. Order anything even late in the evening from any warehouse they have in the country, ship by the cheapest ground shipping they have available, and I get it the next afternoon.
 
Ordered a memory stick for my PSP from Newegg at 3:15pm on Monday. It shipped from California and got here (Charlotte, NC) at 1:00pm today. Standard shipping. Fedex for teh win!
 
I ordered books once from UCLA before my freshman year started and it came the same day. I ordered it in the morning via UPS and it came in the afternoon...I had the biggest WTF face. Granted I live 5 miles from UCLA but still...

EDIT: It was not next day shipping or expedited. It was regular ground.
 
I remember the good ole' days of "Siberian Outpost", which is not "Fry's Outpost". They offered free overnight delivery on all orders! They had really good prices too. I bought a HP computer and a Monitor and it came the next day.
 
NCIX always ships fast for me.
Never paid for anything over standard shipping.
stuff still arrives within 3 days... and that's always the case. They are overall the fastest shipping I've ever had from an online vendor.
