im selling a mobo for cheap, and as is, but ive guaranteed that it posts. whats the easiest way to check if it posts... just lay it on a table and hook up the ps, cpu, vid card, ram... would it post? and how would i turn it on w/o a power button? short the contacts?

btw, what are the chances a mobo is in perfect owrking order if it posts? im just wondering. i was having some probs with it [data corruption]... and i just gave up on it cause i got an upgrade anyways....

Data corruption? Overclocking maybe?

You can see if it posts by using a momentary switch to replace the case button.

Or just find a real cheap case and hook it up.

Guarenteeing it posts is not much of a guarentee, though.
