What's the easiest way to network 2 PC temporary

2 PC w/ NIC on each of them and running Win98 SE
Both PC sitting next to each other.

What's the easiest way to temporary (for less than a month) connect 2 PC?

Any advises would greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Crossover cable. Cheap, cheap, and cheap.

I think I'll try to get a crossover cable from outpost.com (always satisfied with their shipping policy ).

I think it would be just as easy to run tcp/ip, and it's a more robust protocol.
