What's the easiest tool to burn DVDs?

I want to burn an AVI or MPG file from my PC to DVD without any hassles like manually performing conversions or building menus. I just want a straight simple burn from my files to DVD and I dont want it to bug out with divX or xvid codecs either.

What would you suggest?

If you just want to burn the file onto the disc without making it playable, just use Windows burning software. If you are trying to get it to autoplay on a DVD, then you may try something like nero express.
