What's the difference?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between these two eVGA 7900GT cards:
Card 1
Card 2

Here's a comparsion on newegg as well:
Comparision

One is an AR model and the other is an AX model with both having the same price. The main difference that I see between the two is one says it has full SLI support whereas the other does not mention it.

The AX model, that's the one with the SLI support, is currently out of stock and it seems to be the better of the two. I would be willing to wait for Newegg to get more in stock if it's the better of the two but if there are no differences then I would like to buy it now.
Can someone please help me?

EDIT: The rebate for the cards expires tonight. Does anyone know if there will be a new rebate coming up?

Thanks.

They both look identical to me, I think the specs listed for card one are referring to card two, the CO edition, which is overclocked higher than the default 450Mhz/1320Mhz that the 7900GT is normally clocked at. Either card one is a misprint, or they are just selling CO edition cards to whoever orders one (They are the same price, even after rebate). Wierd.

I believe the difference is the memory. The AR model is the one you want.

-New AVL Memory (Approved Vendor List)
-RoHS compliant

And both of them are SLI compatible regardless of it being mentioned or not.

The 563-AX model is the old sku. There were problems around with the 560 line of cards that lead to a lot of artifacting.

Take the 583-AR model.

One more quick question. It's a noob questions but I'd figure I'd better ask anyway.
Will I be able to volt mod the eVGA card like in the Xtremesystems forum or do that only apply to the XFX 7900 GT?

Thanks for everything so far, you guys are great.

Yes, you can vmod any 7900GT execpt the 512mb version ones (expensive, not worth it)

Also, go for the N58x. It's the newer ones that supposidly don't really suffer from some of the problems that plagued the earlier models (N56x). Also not that it matters but the newer ones use the Infineon RAM instead of Samsung. (it doesn't matter).

Also, the vcore vmod is completly safe and hard to mess up but I've had serious problems with the memory vmod. I'd wait to do that.
