Whats the Difference in Cores

The only difference I see is on Newegg is the price what am I missing here I'm building my first mostly gaming PC and if I'm not gunna notice a huge perfomance difference between the two and I will be saving ~$30 I'm gunna go with the venice any suggestions?

Venice is the newest one, & features an improved memory controller among other things.

Certainly go with teh Venice!
