What's the difference?!? - help on dvds

to start with, mods you are quick today.

I recently purchased the Stargate ultimate edition

It came with the director's cut and the theatrical cut

someone please tell me what is the difference between the two?

I would guess the Director's Cut has some extra scenes?

Directors Cut = Theatrical cut + footage cut from the original theatrical release.
