What's the difference between yellow and white American cheese?

Can't stand American cheese. Both taste the same to me, but I've only ever had it on sandwiches.

Real Wisconsin cheese is the way to go. 😀
 
Color and taste perception. That is all. They are exactly the same with the exception of the color.
 
Cool. I think American cheese gets a bad rap. People think of Kraft singles when they think of American cheese, but I think the deli kind I get at the supermarket tastes pretty darn good!

I was thinkin the same thing. Here's what else I was thinking:
White American is White.
Yellow American must be of Asian descent.
No one sells Black American cheese though.

We should call upon all the brothas and sistas and cry discrimination.
