I don't know, but I think that would be an awesome question in the CPU/Processor forum.
 
The socket is the only difference; they use the exact same Prescott core.
 
Like said before it's just the socket. I hate this marketing crap, why add more numbers to it. I was listening to the radio and the had an add for the HP Pavilion m1090n Photosmart Minitower with the Intel Pentium 4 560 3.6GHz processor with HT technology.

WTF. Just say the damned thing has a p4 3.6Ghz.

The naming and all of stuff is getting rediculous. Motherboards are outragous now too. I remeber when BX-6 rev2 was the longest name for a motherboard, now it has to be 4,000 characters long.
