What's the difference between the Primary and Secondary displays?

I have a dual monitor set up with Win 98 SE using an AGP video card and a PCI video card. In the BIOS, I have it set to initialize the AGP slot first, making it the Primary display. At one point, I had it set to initialize the PCI slot first, making it the Primary display.

If the PCI video card is the primary display, do I lose anything on the AGP side?

What's the difference between the Primary and Secondary displays anyway?

primary display gets the signal until the device driver is loaded.
