hmmm, it looks like the 2007FP has a higher max resolution. 1600x1200 opposed to 1600x1050 for the 2007WFP.

am I paying $20 more for that?

WFP = Wide Flat-Panel
FP = Flat-Panel

you should get the widescreen...

i'd go for the 1600x1200. It's more pixels (right?), and will do fine with games that don't support widescreen.

Then again, i've always been a fan for 4:3 :)

Get the E207WFP instead. I have one. 5ms reponse time for gaming! It is so bright too! Best $240 I ever spent. I think they go for $280 but you can get a coupon from ebay.

What's the difference between the E207WFP and the 2007FPW? They both appear to be 20.1", same resolution, yadda yadda but one is ~$100 cheaper than the other. Looks like the 2007FPW has a slightly wider viewing angle and it has the USB hub but are those the only differences?

They both have different panels. The 2007fpw is the ultrasharp. Better viewing angles, blacks and color reproduction than the E207wfp and the e207wfp doesnt have the svideo and composite inputs either.

The 2007FP (4:3) is not HDCP compatible. The 2007WFP (16:10) has a much better panel than the e207WFP. The 2007WFP usually has a better panel than the 2007FP as well, but that can vary because of the 'panel lottery'.
