Chunk white is more expensive than solid white. What's the difference?

EDIT:
well, i bought starkisk chunk and starkisk solid tuna (both in water).

chunk = bits and pieces of tuna chunks. it looks like left over scraps

solid = cross section from a single tuna fish.

solid looks ALOT better than chunk. But both taste the same to me.

i wonder why Chunk costs more than solid?

The difference is probably what part of the fish they come from, I'd suspect the chunk is the center of the muscle. In any event if you're going to be making tuna salad out of it, it really doesn't matter one way or another. They both taste the same as far as I can tell

Er the difference is in how they're packed. Chunk, solid, flakes.

EDIT: just incase those that can't figure it out, chunks are tuna that comes in chunks, solid are of course larger and more solid, and flakes are what it sounds like, flakes all compressed together.

Isn't solid like a cross-section of the fish, so you get bones and all?
The bones are soft enough so you can eat them though...

chunk is lotd of little flakes on tuna, whereas solid is like a cross section of a filet or something. I think solid tastes much much better, and has a milder flavor.
