Whats the difference between a turbo charged engine and a super charged engine? or is it the same thing just different name?

Without getting too far into specifics that probably wouldn't be understood a SC is belt driven. A turbo uses exhaust gasses to spin it's compressor wheel.

my god, how may times will this be asked? I need to ask Zuni to write a FAQ on it.
You can have both. A turbocharger is just a centrifugal supercharger that is driven by a turbine ("turbine-driven supercharger" --> "turbo-supercharger" --> "turbocharger" --> "turbo"). It is entirely possible to have a turbocharger feed into a supercharger or vice-versa. It was done on some aircraft piston engines but I don't believe that it has ever been done in automobiles and it has certainly not been done in mass production.Originally posted by: BullyCanadian
so that means car (a) can have either a turbo or a super charged installed in it? like you have a choice over which one to get? Also is one better then the other?Originally posted by: flxnimprtmscl

Never from the factory though, and never in mass quantities. Which were the only two positive claims I made. Better to just do a sequential twin turbocharger setup than a twincharging setup.Originally posted by: flxnimprtmscl
It has been done on quite a few cars though. HKS (I belive it was) even made kits for doing it to first gen MR2's.
Lancia built a Delta that was Turbo and Supercharged, pretty wild setupI don't believe that it has ever been done in automobiles
