What's the difference between 2mb and 8mb Cache on 120GB Hard drive?

Just wondering, because the difference in price for the 2mb and 8mb 120GB Hard dribe is about $40 Canadian.
 
The cache stores frequently used files there for quicker access. 8MB means it can keep more files there. The difference is that the 8MB is faster. I have the 120gb drive with 8mb, and it is freakin fast. I love it

I agree. The Western Digital JB drives are among the fastest IDE drives out there, and it's mainly due to the 8MB buffer. Well worth the money.

 
Thanks guys! I thought 60 gigs was enough for me, but I find myself quickly losing space to the large amounts of *cough* programs that I have "acquired", so I might be looking to buy one.
