I just built my Quad a couple of weeks ago, and used an Evga 8800GT. Part number N-802 which according to their website, is clocked faster than their N-801 card which is also 512MB. No complaints about my choices so far, this machine rocks!
But I was just looking at the OffTopic section of my other favorite, the CorvetteForum.com
Theres a guy on the Forum that says he just bought an 8800GT too - but his is 256MB and only clocked at 600MHz. This card is clocked at 650 outta the box.
Why all these different flavors of the 8800GT? I know there's also the GTS series, which is clocked faster.
So is my card, the middle of the road version of this GeForce 8800GT?
