<< Waxing your car polishes the finish a bit, but it mostly adds a thin coat of wax. Polishing your car adds nothing, but it has a very fine abrasive or cleanser that cleans off stuff that normal washing wont, i.e., oxidation. It also evens out the surface of the paint, to add to the "shine." If your paint is looking dull, your best bet is to polish it with a quality polish, then wax it. >>
Heh, finally the answer to something that has bugged me for sometime. Somehow I can't really see any car polish for sale around. It's all wax. Either that or I've not been looking hard enuf {g}
