What's the diff between Duron and T-Bird? I need specific specs!

they are identical except that the l2 cache on the duron is half of the thunderbird

basically it equals 5-10% lower performance across the board


as far at the chipset architecture its identical

oops i think i was wrong,

the duron l2 cache is only 1/4th of the thunderbird
they both have 128kb of l1 cache
but the duron has 64kb l2, while the tbird has 256kb

And because of the aforementioned disparity in cache sizes, the power consumption at like clock speeds is lower for the Duron (also the Duron is available only at the lower end of the frequency range - i.e., there aren't any 1ghz Durons)
