Speed Disk

BTW I hear if you use NTFS, defragging does jack squat anyway.

I boot into safe mode and use Windows defrag, which is essentially Diskeeper Lite.

Whatever windows XP got, no need for spending $30-50 on Diskeeper.

Besides I usually replace my drives before I need a defrag.

How can people afford to format so often? What a pain. Wasn't there a test last year where someone checked the performance before, with XP's defrag, diskeeper, O&O and Norton, and found there is no best defrag? They each do it a different way, which may be better, or may be worse than before defragging. I remember hearing it's not necessary w/ NTFS, so I've never done it.
Also, I guess if you defragged with a 3rd party app, XP would just rearrage it somewhat has it does in the background, to put the most used apps at the front (unless you disable it).
