I kick my TV when it's acting up and like magic it works again, I do it to my computer and all I get is smoke. Shouldn't the kicking work for both? I mean they're made of the same kinda stuff.

this better be a joke. if not, in short, tv != computer. a more equitible analogy would be tv and monitor. and sometimes hitting a monitor does work.

Heh - I'm sure it's a joke... the reason that a television set works when you kick is because you can &quot;jump start&quot; it via the conductors that are inside... w/ a computer, the parts are much more &quot;Seperated&quot; everything is in it's own whole... a TV has many parts that are intertwined w/ one another...

Anyways... yes, the monitor would be a better analogy...
