a friend sent me this link today and i briefly perused the site and it seems legit (i didnt scrutinize everything extensively though)...

whats the deal with things like these? does it really work? whats the catch? there HAS to be one right? i mean can you just run that autosurf program all day long and watch the cash roll in?

sorry im a lil skeptical but curious... it wouldnt hurt to get some extra money...

can anyone tell me if they've had any experiences with this kinda thing and whether it looks legit and if there are any catches?

thanks a lot!

a few of my friends used to get paid to surf, but his was way back in high school (about 5 years ago). they did run autosurf programs. the catch? um, it pays like 10 dollars a year or something, lol.

yes too good to be true

you have to install some program that prings up adds and you have to click on them and crap, i guess you could write a script to do it all for you tho

you only get pennies for it, and moe for refering others

Back in the day 1999-2001 people were receiving $1,400 - $2,000 per month from pointclick.com

Of course when the bubble burst all those paid to surf programs went with it.

I heard Japan is going to be instituting a new torture system where they put you infront of a pc with gator installed 😉

How inhumane.....

This definately is cruel and unusual punishment.

welcome to 5 years ago.

The most notorious one was alladvantage. That was probably the first of all the "pay to surf" schemes. It did pay though, I would receive about $50/2 months or so. All I did was run an auto surf program. I believe the very first person to sign up on all advantage received some $60K/month from all the referals.

Following that were many other "PTS" companies all doing pretty much the same thing. Pointclick was a little different and I actually racked up a few hundred on that.

But of course this was ultimately going to fail b/c the their basis for profit was supposedly from people clicking those ads in the bar and buying stuff, but no one really did that. I think at one point I had 6 cashbars going at the same time. I had a 17" monitor and I could only use half of it for my desktop haha.

Good times...

It used to be the rage back a few years ago, but it failed because of idiots like HonkeyDonk cheating the system with auto-surfers.I made probably $100 in all from it when I had referred a bunch of people.

WARNING WARNING!!!

If a site has to defend itself about not being a pyramid scheme or a MLM then it really is a pyramid scheme or MLM. Seriously, this isn't anything like the pay to surf sites from the pre-bubble bursting internet. These guys are trying to get money out of you by having you "upgrade" your membership and "referals". RUN AWAY. Get your friend out too.

I hope you took note of my warning, this site is not like the pay to surf websites that used to exist back in the good old days. This site is in fact a scam, it's a pyramid scheme or mlm, whatever you want to call it. Its true that there used to be sites that would pay you to have ads come up while you surf, but that is no longer the case. This is actually a scam that's trying to look like those sites. People will think its legit because they remember sites that used to operate by giving away money for looking at ads. This site is nothing like that. Its actually trying to get you to put your own money to earn interest by viewing ads. They call it "upgrading" your membership. You also earn 10% of your downlines "upgrades". If that kind of talk doesn't trigger your scam-o-meter then there's nothing else I can say except good luck. The only way to make money in a scheme like this is to be a scum bag and sell people empty promises.

When it came out years ago before the bubble burst it actually worked quite well for a lot of people. I got some money with a macro program, which pretended that i was surfing. They're junk now; don't bother.
