Hi

guys I noticed that my fx5900 has a temp sensor, kinda cool, but now I wonder whats a good temp for a v-card
mine shows 50deg C idle, that sound right ?
also what would be high ? idle and load

please let me know

Thank you
Dan

My FX5900 gets to 80c when i play games and it will burn your fingers if you touch the heat sink 😉

When i'm not playing games it sits around 45c 50c 🙂 just like u .. i dont understand how the Shutdown core is 124c LOL thats crazy i wonder how Videocards can handle that amount when CPU's start to crash and die after they get past 75c

50C should be fine. Many on here have reported temps on their 5900's hitting 60's or 70's under a load. My ti4200 is about 52 under a load.

how do you monitor the temps when you play ??

Thanks
Dan

P.S. videoclone CPUs shutdown temp is internal core temp and is 135deg C
