What's the deal with the Duron and FIC?

I read in Anand's article that the Duron can not be overclocked using FIC's AZ11 motherboard even after the overclock pens were resoldered and the voltage jumpers on the CPU modified. However that was a while back and the article didn't mention about the L1 bridges that we all use to overclock. I was wondering if anyone got the overclock to work with the FIC AZ11 motherboard for the Duron 600Mhz WITH the L1 bridges connected?

yep. I have an AZ 11 with a duron 600@850. It would be a lot nicer if the switches were just on the board, but it works. You can go to overclockers.com to find out how to make your own switches.

WeirdZen, how did you overclock that T-Bird with your MSI K7T Pro? I have the same motherboard and the only way I can overclock is by changing the bus speed in the BIOS. Or, is that 1000MHz T-Bird not overclocked?
