Well his polls have suddenly plummeted and Haley's support has skyrocketed among republicans. If this was a case about racist republicans wouldn't you think that support for this candidate would go up because aren't republicans racist? The case here is about an individual member, but nice try painting with your broad brush.
QED & QFT.

It's one thing to be racist - as long as you're not a neo-Nazi, you generally can get your job done somewhat well. But if you're moronic enough to out yourself as one on television, voters need to make sure this guy never is in charge of anything more important than a lemonade stand ever again.

Edit: Ah, an "Internet talk show". Not quite as bad but still eject-worthy.
Pretty much this. I know anyone can say something stupid - after all, the Messiah himself not only said "White folks' greed runs a world in need" but actually included it in his book - but politicians who think it should at least be smart enough not to say it. Especially Republicans, who know they will be savaged by the main stream media. If you want to control the public purse and you can't be nice, at least be smart and quiet.

Yeah so 99.99% of them belong to the GOP or some form of "conservative" movement.

Reverse racism is still racism. There's a fine line between preventing abuse of the majority and enabling abuse of the minority. A line the left doesn't walk too well.

Didn't feel this deserved another thread but there are some sexed up people hanging around my state house. Think I'm going to have to move up there and get me some.

On Tuesday, Greene stunned state Democratic Party leaders by winning the nomination. He raised no money and put up no campaign website. He beat former four-term state lawmaker Vic Rawl, 64, who had raised about $186,000 and had to abruptly scrap a late-week fundraiser for the fall.
Court records show 32-year-old Alvin Greene was arrested in November and charged with showing obscene Internet photos to a University of South Carolina student. The felony charge carries up to five years in prison.

Rich territory for humor.

1. He's just interviewing his future staff who'll not only look at porn with him, but will spend their time surfing the web to find him some more.

2. He's just trying to follow in the footsteps of Dodd and Kennedy.

3. He's discussing porn to establish his qualifications for the Supreme Court in case he loses the Senate race.

4. You can tell he's a Democrat, since it wasn't gay porn.

5. This shows what the Democrats have been doing wrong - speaking! The less people know about them, the less people hear them or see them, the more they like them. (This one also works with politicians in general.)

6. This is the Democrats' new motto in South Carolina: He may be a pervert, but he's not a racist bastard or cheating on his spouse.

7. Greene - advocating bold new positions for South Carolinians.

Leno is going to love this guy!

Are we talking about the democratic senate candidate in SC being charged with a felony?

Not a new one, but yes, he faces a felony. (WTF moment - showing porn to a college student is a felony? Who knew? Colleges offer courses in porn, FFS!)

I know nothing of Greene and would almost certainly not vote to send Reid another Dem vote if I were in South Carolina, but other than that showing porn to a college student is hardly as bad as what Congress does on a regular basis, at least in my book. Hell, if I had to vote Dem in South Carolina I'd still vote for him.

Gets better.
The man nominated as Democrats' candidate for Senate in South Carolina might have been a "plant," a high-ranking Democrat suggested Thursday.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) called on the U.S. attorney's office in South Carolina to investigate the circumstances that led to Alvin Greene winning the Democratic primary for Senate in the state earlier this week.
Clyburns been smoking some plant.

Somehow Greene came up with $10,400 to pay the primary registration fee in February, despite being unemployed, despite raising no money (or not disclosing his fundraising as required by law) and despite having filed an affidavit of indigency for his felony arrest in November (so the taxpayers pay for his legal defense).

Thank God I don't live in in South Carolina-you people must have the most corrupt and dirty tricks filled politics in the entire country, even beating out New Orleans and Chicago/Illinois.

And don't forget, we elect adulterers for our governors.

He won the primary because no one knew him or his opponent on the democratic side and his name came first on the ballot. Fluke. The republican will beat him in November.

The $$ is interesting but I can't imagine the right putting up the $10K. DeMint has it in the bag and lots of $$in the bank for campaigning.

You can't make this stuff up.

A S.C.lawmaker on Sunday suggested that new Democratic Senate nominee Alvin Greene may be intellectually incapable of participating in the general election race.
Racist!
And Clyburn S.C.-D
"I never said he was a Republican plant. I said he was someone's plant. ... I saw the patterns in this. I know a Democratic pattern, I know a Republican pattern and I saw in the Democratic primary elephant dung all over the place," he told CNN.
Clyburn is using up good air.

Yeah I watched him with Shephard Smith, it was downright painful hearing him talk. I would go so far as to say it was even worse than listening to GWB during a presidential debate. *shudder*

Couric should interview him and make Sarah Palin's day.
