Whats the command in XP to check your ip address?

I know in 98 and Me it's "winipcfg"..

My friends cable modem isnt workin with her comp right now and i wanna see if her computer recognizes the ip address the cable modem is giving her.

To be more specific.....open a DOS window and type ipconfig
To release the ip....ipconfig /release
To renew ip...... ipconfig /renew

You might need to open a DOS window to see the results (type CMD in the Run dialog box, then type IPCONFIG at the DOS prompt). At least, it's that way in 2000 (still here at work, can't check home XP at the moment)

Theres a new way in XP!:

Go to the the connection (double click on it, not the properties). Click the support tab, and there ya go! The repair button will release/renew automatically, and the details button tells you everything about the lease if its DHCP.
