What's the cheapest way to get multiple copies of Windows 9x or 2000 for building systems...?

I build about 10-20 computers a year for family, friends, etc., and I always end up having them buy OEM copies for about $100. I'm sure there's a better way...?

I was referring to *LEGAL* ways to get it cheaper...I'm all for burning copies, but alot of people I build for are afraid the WAREZ police will come rape their dogs. Just wondering if there was a way to get them in bulk straight from MS or something...but they probably only deal with the likes of Dell, Gateway, etc, huh?

Get a resellers tax certificate and join the Msoft OEM system builder program. Buy from the list of approved merchants and participate with the rest of the people building computers from there homes like I do. Good luck. I would be happy to help you.

I wish you much success.

I sell these packs you are talking about, and used them with systems I sold. It takes a lot of time and money to get the proper licenses, etc, to join a distributor. I get all of my stuff from TechData (www.TechData.com) and Ingram Micro (www.IngramMicro.com). You can get them cheap, and if you do it in bulk it is even cheaper!

When I worked in a computer store in high school, we sold license packs. These were basically just bundles of licences and key codes for people or companies that already had the CDs, but wanted to remain legal. Don't know if you can still get them or not.
