I realize that using a broom is too much effort to blow debris off the driveway like grass or dead bugs, etc. so I really want a blower. I'd prefer not to be hindered by a cord so I really would like a gasoline one. If anybody here has come across a very cheap one recently what store did u get it from and how much was it? Thanks :D

Sorry. Just saw blow jobs and felt obliged to respond with a post with no worthwhile content.

Friend picked one up at Lowes for $60+tax on sale, gas powered. It blows fairly well, no mess.

LOL!

Skoorb, did you post that title on purpose? (HINT: It's a helluva lot funnier if you didn't.)

Jerboy ;)

Gimme a sec to look up a few things. Honda makes awesome small engines, so they are always a good bet. A little pricey though. Stihl makes some really good gas and gas/oil blowers.

Okay, the Stihl BG 45 seems to be what you're after. We have one from that line (not sure if it's the 45, 55, or 65) at work and it's super quiet, and really light. It'd be perfect for doing a driveway. It's a 2-stroke, so that means mixed gasoline/oil, but that's not a big problem. They seem to be going for ~$200 US

well, if you find one that vacuums after the blow job, keep it. no mess when it just swallows it all up!

Corner of 42nd. and 5th, $20.

on a technical note, wouldn't it be damn near impossible for those 2 streets to intersect?

42nd street and 5th avenue... or 42nd avenue and 5th street.

or if you're in a place like calgary where the city centre is 0 ave/0 st, then you have:

42nd st and 5th ave NE, NW, SE, and SW
AND
42nd ave and 5th st NE, NW, SE, and SW

So you can have 8 places where those streets intersect.
