What's the cheapest computer I can build that will be decent for DVD encoding and authoring.

Well I made the mistake of telling my father he could have my old dell for his office. Now that I think about it, It was a P4 2.4 533 mhz fsb and would have been a great secondary machine for downloading/encoding/storage/authoring etc. so I don't have to bog down my current machine with that stuff. Rather than give him that dell, I've decided maybe I'll keep it for myself and build him a new inexpensive rig that will be fine for his applications (word, accounting programs, excel). I liked building my first rig so I don't really look at this as a chore, it's something I want to do. Now I just have to determine if this plan is economically sound. It would probably be able to use integrated sound and video, and nothing fancy as far as components. I would take the 60 gig HD out of the dell and put it in that rig. And of course, If I could make a better machine than the dell, I could let him keep the dell and have the new one for myself :). The price range would be no more than 400 (pushing it).

Dell Specs: Dimenison 8250 P4 2.4 w/ 533 mhz fsb, 1GB PC1066 RDRAM, 60GB HD, onboard sound, Geforce3 card (not sure which.)
