BEST radio station - 88.9 KUCI at 12am - 3am (punk-ska, lounge, pop, int'l muck, emo-ish)

WORST radio station - everything else

even then i dont listen to kuci unless a good band is playing (home grown played a few weeks ago and thrice guest hosted last tuesday i believe)

<< When I lived in So Cal, my favorite station was Power 106 >>

I hate power. All they play now is that f'ing Jagged Edge song.

there isn't. the local college public radio plays some decent jazz in the afternoons sometimes. but other than that its just hiphop and country. :disgust::disgust: there is one rock station but they have been playing the same 20 songs for 15 yrs now. you can set your watch by it. :frown: and there is the pop rock station...if you can call that "music".

ig

KROQ 106.7 FM has to be the best in LA area.

<< kroq plays pop crap too >>

<< tool, staind, linkin park, limp bizkit, etc >>

i happen to like all of those bands....and i beg to differ about them being 'pop crap'

i used to love rap but after 2pac/Biggie died, all rap turned to crap, at least 90% of rap is now crap.

From so cal too..

I like Star 98.7 and the Beat 100.3

as a DJ, i can honestly say these two stations play the most mainstream songs without overplaying them... freaking kiis
