Whats the best wifi router to buy? need a quick suggestion

Would buying 802.11n be a good idea? I really dont have any devices that can make use of n speeds at the moment., but maybe it will help in the future. I am thinking of dropping into frys or central computers in the santa clara area and picking it up.

I have an iphone. Planning to get a Macbook pro soon. Besides, the airport extreme is designed for the PC (as described on the packing) and mac.
