What's the best way to test the stability of my 1.6A???

I've had this running at 150MHz on my P4S333 with no problems for the last day, but would like to know what people are using to stress the CPU out and see if it crashes. So far the only thing I've done is play Q3A with no problems.

Thanks

I have found that if it can run overnight (8 hours) then it could most likely run forever. Some people say 24 hours and some overkill it and run it for a week. Again, in my experiences, if it can run for 8 hours, it could run for 24+. Prime95 will usually die within the first 2 hours if unstable.

I use the overnight Prime95 loop myself, but keep in mind that it is best used in tandem with other tests. Run 3DMark2001SE loops overnight to really put the hurt on your graphics card. I know in my case even though the computer aced a 10 hour Prime95 session it would consistently freeze up within the first ten seconds of 3DMark. No amount of Vcore could fix it. Totally unexpected and very annoying.

Don't waste cpu cycles...run any of the Distributed Computing projects like SETI (see my sig). They all put your system/cpu at 100% use plus you're actually doing something valuable with those cpu cycles. :)

Of course, I use SETI to burn in systems. It will spot a problem pronto. Prime95.....blaaaaa.
