What's the best way to make an omelette?

I need quick answers, the pan is hot.

I hate how when i make omelettes, it comes out all flat.... I want it iHop style, nice, thick, rolled up, soft, extremely delicious.

What about toppings?

Respond qucikly.

Turn on the broiler now! Cook the bottom of the omlette and once it's good and firm, place the skillet under thr broiler for a little bit. Take it out once it firms up, put your toppings on it and put it back in for a few more. Take it out, flip the top over and put on plate.

i have an omlet pan, it has 2 1/2 circle sides and a hinge, you put 1/2 teh egg in 1 side and 1/2 in the other, add toppings to it and cook it on the burner, when its about 1/2 to 2/3 done, depending on how you like it you flip it over on itself and cook for a lil more

comes out perfect all the time

looks like this

but mine is a circle and not an oval

the other easy way is to use a large flat grittle and got a frying pan, and let it cook and then just flip it over with a large spatula

I just have a non-stick pan that's all...no broiler or anything...

BUT: http://www.pineapple-girl.com/omelet.htm <-- I went there and followed that. I had NO idea that you needed milk to make omelettes. What I basically did was I chose to use more batter in a smaller pan. Came out beautifully.

Swiss cheese, red/green bell pepers, raw onions, salt, peper...... delicious.
