If possible, what's the best way to get really good tickets at a great price? This is for Manhattan, BTW.

Got mine from HERE. Front/center row of the mezzanine has seats with a great view. Pricing wasn't terrible, either. They were better than some of the main floor seats actually, since some of the action is blocked from view in certain areas of the main floor.

How so? Where are the best seats in your opinion?

Mug someone in the area and steal theirs. It's New York, so they'll just shrug it off and be grateful you didn't stab them, and then you get to go to the show for free!

I went to see this at the Majestic, it was great. You will love it and your GF will love you for taking her.

I got my tickets through some special pricing we get through work. PM me if you want the code. You just need to call the box office and provide them with the code, they dotn ask where you work or anything. You then pick up the tickets at the box office on the day of the show.

Front row/center on the mezzanine, as I said. I was initially going to go for front row/main floor, despite the fact that they were more expensive, but the guy on the phone at TeleCharge actually talked me out of them due to certain parts of the action taking place out of view.

On the program it lays out which areas of the seating have parts of the show taking place out of view to their position, but I don't know where my program is right now. I will see if I can find it tomorrow.

tdf is 50% off and just get mezzanine tickets, theaters are small enough you can see all the actions from anywhere.

Not with Phantom of the Opera. Some of the action takes place in the catwalks, box seats, and other locations that cannot be seen from certain floor seats. Front and center of the mezzanine does allow you to see all of it, though.

Just don't forget to look up from the stage now and then. You're pretty much on the level with some of the action that is taking place in the catwalks.
