What's the best way to decline a sales man's items?

I started personal training at 24 Hour Fitness and after the session is over the trainer usually tells me "lets go look at supplements."

I don't really need the supplements (Pyruvate, lyprotropic, multi vitamins), and I had a hard time saying no to a $89.99 bottle of Pyruvate which I'll basically never use.

The next time I go I'm just going to say that I don't have the $.

But I don't want to even buy any supplents anymore at all lol.

I just wanna work out and that's it. I can live with not losing all the weight in the world...

I get persuaded easily if I'm in person... no I won't send you any money via paypal.com.

sounds like a good response right there, seems to me you shouldnt need supplements if you follow a proper exercise regimen and are achiveing results by doing so

Personally, if a sales man wants to show me his "items", I say "Zip up and get the fvck away from me!"

Oh, wait....

I mean "Thank you, but I'm not interested."

Yeah just tell the guy you're not intersted and he should leave you alone. If he doesn't, drop a 45lb weight on his foot. :) j/k about that last part :

Too many of those supplements don't do anything anyway - find a good medical newsletter with an article on their ineffectiveness, and hand that to him when he does a sales pitch.:)

Be honest with them. Let them do their pitch, if it was good, compliment him/her on their pitch, and then say no. They are trained not to take no for an answer, but you can do it!

Have some balls and just say you can't spare the money on it. Nuff said. That's it.

Ask him if he is a registered dietician, or an MD. If he isn't tell him to experiment on his own body and STHU.

Thanks guys I just found out I have an exchange period of so many days. I can't get a refund but I can exchange it out for like another session of personal training or whatever.

The already bought them works really well.

omg just tell him you don't want any! why lie, it's not like the guy's feelings are gonna be hurt, he didn't spend the weekend making the supplements himself.
