what's the best way to commit ant genocide?

ants keep infesting outside my side door... I put down those baits where they're supposed to take it back to the hive and it kills everything, but that seems to have made the issue worse. none have ventured inside except the occasional stray ant (which could just as easily have been tracked in off my shoe or a package sitting on the ground), but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

any suggestions on how to get rid of them once and for all? I don't have pets and there are no small children in the area, so I've got no problems with any insecticides... I do not, however, have any nukes that could be launched from space 🙁

You're using the wrong bait if they ants don't swarm all over it. Bleach + water mix works well if you don't mind the smell.

I would suggest calling a terminator or get some real professional shit done to the whole area you own 😉

We had to deal with ants for so many years at my old house... Better not have that shit here.

I like the way you think

I've gotten rid of anthills in the middle of the yard in years past by pouring just a little gasoline on the center of the anthill (maybe a half cup), waiting about 5 minutes for the fumes to make their way throughout the ants' little fortress, then tossing a match from a distance. I've never had a problem with a hill being rebuilt. So far, that method has always been 100% effective.

years and years ago my cousin was doing something similar

except he decided that there wasnt enough fire, and literally threw gas on it.

did not end well, but i think he got the ants

Diazinon crystals. Cant get it anymore, but I have a few 20lb bags that I have had for quite a while since before it was banned.

I killed an ant bed that was under my mailbox with a generous sprinkle of sevin dust. That was last year and they never came back. Pretty good stuff I guess.

better idea if you are bored,

catch some flies, freeze them, then glue them to a cross, once they defrost, you have a plane
