I use anti-reflective glass cleaner. You could brobably buy some at an optometrist's office, or Lenscrafters would carry it.

would "costco lense cleaner" give the same effect? It was purchased from the optometry department, it says it works on anti reflective surfices

i just use a little bit of water and a soft papertowel to clean it off, but if your cautious, you might want to buy some ofthe wipes at a compusa or some other store

If it says it works on anti-reflective surfaces, it should. If it doesn't, complain to the manufacturer.

Ummm, glass cleaner is bad for the monitor. It wipes off the anti-relfection coating already on it, and whatever coating manufacturers put on them. Plain water will do, w/ those soft hankerchief things.

take tishoue... or however you spell that darn word... a bundle of paper.... take two of those, wet one of them with warm water and then go over the top part of your screen and right after dry it out with the dry bundle.. then go over each part of your screen. The trick is basicly to try it up quickly.

okok.. I guess I'm not awake, I wrote try instead of dry and some sh+t that wasnt supposed to be there, fixed now.

hmph.. didn't know there was a science to it. I have always used Windex (since 1999) by spraying it directly on the monitor screen... never had any issue.

I don't bother to clean the monitor at work...

why not?

Wood Fibers in the paper can scratch and/or wear off the Anti-Reflective coating. Any good optician will tell you that! Keep doing it, an dover tim eyour screen will look like it's been smoothed out with some 200 grit sandpaper!
Soft Cotton cloth, with some Eyeglass Cleaner.

or some Steel Wool and Acetone will do! :p LOL!!

I use a lint-free soft cotton hand towel. Something that won't scratch the monitor. My monitor's instructions said to clean the monitor with a warm, damp towel and then wipe dry. That way you don't tear off the reflective coating.
