What's the best way for me to get something molded?

Let's say if I want something made as a prototype, but don't have access to a 3D printer, what are my alternatives?

In before sex toys, fleshlight, etc...

Damn, perhaps I left some details out of the OP. I want to make some parts out of plastic, it's a prototype for something that I think could be useful, but don't know where to get it made. I can try a urethane kit but that won't have the hardness that I may need. Meh, I'll think of something.

but seriously if you want to design somthing you need autocad, or buy a3 sheets of paper and a graphics set and draw what you want.

Vac-u-form would probably be your best bet.

You can make a home setup somewhat easily.

Heres a how to guide one how to make your own.

Keep it in a damp, dark place. It will get molded in a week or two.

use a service like this. they are usually not too expensive, just have to send a cad file and you get a part all done in the mail. its pretty slick.
